What if the reason Wilford listens to Kathryn is because she reminds him of Celine
She’s self assured, in charge, and isn’t one to deal with other’s shit. She puts her foot down when needed, and knows how to run things, and tells people what to do because she knows she knows more them.
She doesn’t have patience for idiots who won’t listen. She gets things done.
Headcanon that the reason Dark sits at the opposite end of the ego table is because he knows Wilford finds stability in knowing Damien and Celine are in him somewhere– so he sits in direct eye contact with him at all times so he doesn’t break down again
William (The Colonel) saw the Jims still in the manor as he searched for Damien and Celine. He was in the verge of completely breaking down and giving up. He saw that the Jims worked for a news channel.
Concluding that his friends were still hiding from him he asked for a job because he had no cash to travel to find them. He became a journalist under the stage name of Wilford Warfstache and donned a new look to make himself stand out as he worked to bag a spot in the network. He could then travel the world using the news channel’s dollar. That way he could search everywhere to find his friends, interviewing people to get answers and killing them when they had nothing important to tell him, thinking that they were part of the game too.
When people were horrified to see what he had done, he’d very calmly say that everything was alright and that he’d come back later when the person “woke up” before leaving to continue his search.
If Dark was created out of Celine and Damien’s need for revenge on Mark, that almost completely changes the mood of ADWM. (hear me out okay)
Dark doesn’t show up to take us, to use us. He shows up to PROTECT US.
Mark took everything from Celine and Damien, so when Dark sees that Mark has his clutches on us in a different timeline (ADWM), he grows furious. They’ve already lost the Colonel, and in a sense, themselves. They can’t lose you again.
Dark’s a bit deranged at this point, but his intentions are well meaning.
WKM Theory: “Darkiplier” is an entity that the Colonel brought back from the safari that went wrong. At the time, the manor belonged to him but because of the financial loss of said safari, he was forced to sell it. But Dark remained. Mark bought the manor and was influenced by Dark to live a hedonistic lifestyle until a host with enough power and influence- say, for instance, a mayor, a seer, and a district attorney- showed up.
Oh I love them all so much, but my favorite would probably be Marvin. He’s an innocent little bean. Either him or Anti because I love making fun of him haha
rude
Sorry! But the Glitter Bongos has it comin’! Unless Jack makes a tragic backstory for him which he should nOT DO BECAUSE MY HEART CAN’T TAKE IT
Oh god, my heart will not be able to take it if he does that.
Damien doesn’t really know the groundskeeper at Mark’s mansion as he tends to keep to himself. But anytime Damien would stumble upon him as he takes strolls through the garden George will offer him a flower or two, for being the most courteous guest. And everytime, Damien will go up to William and say “Look Will! I’ve got new flowers!”. And every time William will respond with a fond “that’s nice Damien”
Now let’s fast forward
Wilford’s mind is elsewhere, too buzzed with ideas for his show so he almost doesn’t notice the figure trotting up to him. A soft, deep voice says “look Wil! I’ve got new flowes!” And Wilford turns, sees only the dark, slicked back hair, wide, happy brown eyes, and pristine black suit. “That’s nice, Damien”, he says without thinking, and freezes when the words register. Bim looks at him in confusion, brows furrowing, hands lowering his flowers. “Who’s Damien?” he asks. Wilford, for the life of him, can’t answer.
