Damien doesn’t really know the groundskeeper at Mark’s mansion as he tends to keep to himself. But anytime Damien would stumble upon him as he takes strolls through the garden George will offer him a flower or two, for being the most courteous guest. And everytime, Damien will go up to William and say “Look Will! I’ve got new flowers!”. And every time William will respond with a fond “that’s nice Damien”
Now let’s fast forward
Wilford’s mind is elsewhere, too buzzed with ideas for his show so he almost doesn’t notice the figure trotting up to him. A soft, deep voice says “look Wil! I’ve got new flowes!” And Wilford turns, sees only the dark, slicked back hair, wide, happy brown eyes, and pristine black suit. “That’s nice, Damien”, he says without thinking, and freezes when the words register. Bim looks at him in confusion, brows furrowing, hands lowering his flowers. “Who’s Damien?” he asks. Wilford, for the life of him, can’t answer.
ach my heart, why must you do this.
