While Jack doesn’t particularly like being seen as leader, what I’ve seen since he said he was taking a break from tumblr is a testament of his influence. Everyone is still being friendly, kind and supportive. Fan art, edits, gifs, theories and fics are still flowing through dashes which is so nice to see. You should be proud of yourselves, JSE community, you’re continuing to be what Jack would want to see in others

Other important red flags to keep in mind: someone who wants to jump into emotional/financial co-dependence very fast (like moving in together right away, or becoming each other’s only confidantes right away) and won’t take no for an answer; someone who tries to minimize how often you leave the house or interact with other people; someone who threatens you or themselves or your family or pets or possessions or financial future; someone who uses guilt to keep you from leaving a relationship.
Very important reminder: You do not need a reason to leave a relationship. Neither does the other person (or people). A relationship is over when one of the people in it says it’s over, period. Obviously it’s kind to take the end of a long relationship seriously, but abusers and manipulators have lost the right to that conversation. Lie if you need to–your safety is much more important than their feelings.

A rule my friend suggested: if 3 people (friends or family) say a relationship is toxic or unhealthy, or that they’re seeing red flags… Leave.

He didn’t need to say that. Honestly, he could have gotten annoyed at us for ‘always making things about Anti’ or just disregarded it, but this made me smile because it just shows how much Sean respects us
And I agree. It was better without Anti and I’m actually enjoying the break because now there’s the ANTIcipation of how long the break will last and what kind of storm we’re in for when its over
We need a long-ass break from Anti stuff to trully make the next appearance unexpected and awesome/scary again!

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Anti and all the buzz about him, the thories, fanart, all that stuff, it’s super fun and that’s what’s it all about. It’s why I’m active here and my bio literally says I’m obsessed with him, but we should maybe try and slow down a bit? Y’know, stop paying attention to every little detail that’s probably just Sean messin around? It could nicely play into some next hints and clues (and lore?) and it would TRULLY startle us when he appears for realsies 😀 Idk about you, but the constant mentions of anti being related to every,single. little. detail. is starting to take the fun out of it. Slowing down and appreciating Sean/other egos would be a nice change of pace
