I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!! We came up with the thought that Marvin has the card suits on his forehead, and that’s why he wears the mask, cause my poor anxious bean is insecure about it. (Also Chase is the only one who has seen him without the mask)
Anyway, yes the more he practiced magic the more they appeared, and they glow when he uses magic!

Well, everyone’s jumping on the Zombie Jack bandwagon and calling him Robbie. Looks like J is gonna be the only Ghoul Jack made from that thumbnail. Poor J, he’s only just come to life and is already getting out done by his rotting twin brother. Speaking of J, instead of his eyes being red, I think I’m gonna change em to a really pale lavender to look more like the thumbnail. His eyes when flipping out are still gonna be black and red though. And I’m gonna have two versions of him, the original which is Jack turned into a ghoul, and an ego version. Anyway, hooray for that thumbnail gaining so much traction! Jack has unintentionally caused the birth of a new ego with just a picture!
If you want to avoid blob shoes you’ll want to pay attention to the natural shape of the foot. Following the natural curves along this shape can make it look more filled out.
Another thing that can help is adding a few little details to the shoe. These will all depend on what shoe type you are going for of course. Personally I’m best at drawing sneakers and boots.
Until you are comfortable drawing a shoe type I would also suggest having a reference image handy. This can really help you out if you find your shoes looking off so that you can easily compare between the drawing and image.
