The ASG discord and I were working on this one. Get ready, it’s a long read.
What’s always struck me as interesting during the Bio Inc. Redemption video is the time it took for Anti to take over. We’ve seen that in Say Goodbye, but that was Anti’s first time breaking out and talking to us for more than even ten seconds. In Always Watching, it takes him barely any time at all, and in Dark v Anti, he’s already taken over (discard the last one if you need to, I’m still not sure if it’s cannon). So why did it take so long for Anti to make his appearance in the video? There are two theories along these lines, so bear with me.

Theory One: Because He Can It’s cannon that the good doctor has saved Jack twice, and saved Chase from killing himself, right? So that makes him as someone who’s foiled Anti’s plan many times over. The biggest obstacle in his way. But now that Anti has Schneeplestein where he wants him, what’s the rush? Anti’s angry- he wants the doctor to pay for what he’s done. In short, he’s fucking with Schneeple, making him try to kill himself, making him panic, making this whole scene last way longer than it needs to. At one point we even see him grin and leer at the camera while Schneeple continues to try, almost like he’s saying, “look at what I’m doing to your precious doctor. Look at what I can do- and you can’t do anything! Look at all the pain he’s in. Powerless.” It’s even suggested that Schneeple didn’t even know about Anti until that video- he was saying things like “Always with the mood swings, sometimes he is one person, sometimes he is completely different person!” He also noted that he had never seen this type of illness before. But if he had patched up Jack twice, wouldn’t he have put the dots together? Well, a theory that goes along with this is that Schneeple didn’t know about Anti at all- just assuming Jack got hurt one way or another. There wouldn’t have been any other person in the room, not if Jack and Anti share the same body, so why would he think otherwise? We also have to take into account that he might not be as smart as he thinks he is. That’s why he didn’t filter himself when referring to the “anti” medication- he didn’t know that would trigger the glitches. Then Anti’s appearance is more of a “I’m what you’ve been fighting for so long. I am your worst nightmare. Get ready to get fucked.”
Theory Two: The Good Doctor is Stronger Than we Thought This next idea is my favorite, because originally we wrote off Schneeplestein as a silly doctor who got his license from a cereal box. But in reality, this man is one of Anti’s greatest threats. When he found himself trying to choke himself to death, he snapped out of it and went straight back to saving Jack like a boss. He was fighting through out the entire video to save Jack, writing off his own pain as “sympathy pains” or stress. Anti recognizes this man as extremely dangerous because he’s been the only reason he has failed so far, so he has to A) kill him, and B) get rid of him. There’s a theory that Anti might’ve gotten to Chase because of his weakened state (divorce, not being able to see the kids), so why wouldn’t that work for Schneeplestein? Put him through a grueling scenario that he knows the doctor can’t win, take away his pride and confidence, and that’s the perfect moment to attack. Schneeplestein does consider himself to be the best at what he does, after all. How else could Anti take over? There’s also the idea that having Schneeplestein try to save Jack and failing is especially horrible because Jack is his only friend. In fact, he might’ve stitched Chase up just because he knows Jack would want him to. So by making him indirectly kill his own friend, Anti is stripping away every ounce of happiness in Schneeple’s mind. But Schneeplestein has figured out something is wrong by the end of the video, and that’s when he does something genius. He ends his own life while Anti is in the process of possessing him. No wonder the glitch bitch is furious when he arrives. He had to cut himself loose from his dying host, probably hurting himself in the process. All the screams of “I’m in control” make a lot more sense when he’s livid that the good doctor has made his plan backfire. He tried so hard to take control, and with his last dying breaths, Schneeplestein pulled the rug out from under him. Additionally, it’s been noted that it would’ve been quite hard for Anti to possess the good doctor because the good doctor might not really be all there. Not to mention that maybe Anti knew Schneep was going to be a harder target, so he drew out the take over to throw him off.
But what none of this tells us for sure is the location of Schneeplestein. Is he still alive? Was the scream before Anti appears a scream of anguish as Schneeplestein dies, or a scream of fury from Anti that the doctor has gotten away?
We won’t know for sure until Anti gives us some answers. But until then, it might not be too late. So let’s keep the hashtag going, because every second counts. #septicsave

… Oh boy. These are some new ideas I’ve not thought or heard of before- but I really like them.
I agree with BOTH of you theories: Part 1, the thought Anti was simply toying with the Schneeple (just b/c he could, and for revenge) is deeply unsettling. But it makes Anti all the more fun villain to watch- and all the more heartbreaking to see how the Doc suffers by his manipulation. Both are shown excellently with the pacing, editing, and acting.
Part 2… That Doc is stronger than we think? Uh oh……
The day we got Kill Jacksepticeye, Jack/ Anti was very, very deliberately quiet on Tumblr with what he “liked” and “reblogged” after the video was uploaded. (”Likes”- esp. with Anti lore- have always been cryptic, but for any post there may be something in it he literally liked in the 1st place).
Schneeple was able to stop himself from choking himself with the headphone cords.If you look at this theory (that @kenmarlenn and I talked about) of Anti having the ability to influence the others to take their own life, Schneeple has been the ONLY ONE able to “snap out” of that trance!
His will to save his patient and friend was greater than Anti’s influence.
This, and that post he liked; that Schneeple was (possibly) the only one who could possibly stop/ cure Anti… No wonder he was the first target.

Are we going to see Anti affect the other SepticEgos in the future? To prove he’s in complete “control”? I think so; however I know realistically that would take a TON of planning, editing, time, and is a huge ambitious project in the 1st place. (Not that I’m saying it can’t be done, but it’s a lot of work. If we never see something like it I’m not going to be disappointed- I understand more than anything!). But if it does happen (in a big or small way), imagine the possibilities!
… I do wonder about the Doc’s canon fate. I hope he’s ok, and how/ if we’ll ever see him again.
Schneep is one of my favorite Egos, I absolutely love the second theory. It makes so much sense.
A Glitch Named Anti
