Hmmm. I mean, just because the army as an institution is flawed and damaging doesn’t mean everyone in it is a terrible person. To paint every single veteran with the same brush is reductive and to make light of the debilitating mental disorders many have just seems wrong. Like yes, fuck the military as an institution completely 100%, but blaming disabled ex-front-line infantry maybe isn’t the best direction for our anger, perhaps.
A lot of veterans are poor people who were intentionally targeted by scouting programs coming to their schools starting at age 13, and most of them are worse off coming back than they were to start with… let’s be courteous to folks with PTSD

You can hate Caitlyn Jenner. But if you misgender her, or make comments about her genitalia, you are a transphobe.
And you can hate the military. But if you deliberately try to trigger veterans with PTSD, you are an ableist piece of shit.
You do no get to pick and choose which people to treat fairly when it comes to acknowledging and combatting prejudice.
Not liking a person is not a free pass to disregard anti-prejudicial words and actions. Either you respect marginalized peoples as a whole (even if you don’t like an individual), or you don’t respect them at all. There is no middle ground.

You don’t have to like the military, it’s massively fucked up but y’all needs understand that most people in the military are victims of propaganda and are usually poor or part of a minority who are taken advantage of in order to join.
Stabby the Space Roomba. Sure, as a concept and character, Stabby is amazing, but that’s not the part I love the most. At some point, someone made a post about humans bonding with nonhumans, and it kept being escalated, until someone mentioned the possibility of humans deciding a roomba with a knife taped on it is now their commanding officer. And from that day, any time people made a ‘humans are weird’ post, someone incuded stabby. Because we don’t need an actual roomba to care about.
We, as humans, can fall in love with the mere concept of a cleaning robot that stabs people. We have fallen in love with it, and spread the concept, to such a degree that I guarantee you that when interstellar flight is achieved, most ships will have their own stabby, and that when to ships dock together there will be ritual fights. Aliens, if they exist, will ask why in our society these crude AI’s hold such cultural significance. Perhaps it has to do with our friend the cat, which is likewise a carnivore we deified to the point of ludicrousnous in the past?

Ik that’s not technically Jackieboy Man’s “canon” outfit, but I felt like putting my own little twist on it and spicing it up a bit with some variety!
I’m also rly fond of the headcanon that Marvin’s ears on his cat mask move with his emotions like actual cat ears due to his magic. He’s also wearing a button-up bc I felt like just a plain t-shirt wasn’t magician-y enough. Also Marvin with dimples? More like Hell Fucking Yeah.
I also think Marvin would own gauges that match the symbols on his mask and he switches out between them depending on which ones he feels wearing that day; sometimes he’ll even wear mismatching ones to spice things up a bit. Jackie thinks it’s super cute that Marvin owns them and he always likes helping him pick out which ones he should wear while they’re getting dressed.
