It’s important to remember that being friends with someone is not equal to agreeing with every single actions they’re doing or supporting their mistakes. Seán never blame all of us when one person in the community does something he doesn’t like, that wouldn’t be fair so we shouldn’t do that with him, right?

He tries to see good in every single person and is super careful when speaking of topics that potentially could cause drama or discussions that could hurt or offend anyone here so if you’re going to judge him then please judge him for his own actions and not for what his friends are doing. I hate the thought of being judged myself for just watching Felix’s content as well, because again, it doesn’t mean that I support ever single thing he’s doing.

I just got a feeling that it almost came to a split here in the jse community between people who like Pewdiepie and people who don’t and it’s kinda sad to see people being told that they’re bad people for finding him funny and too sensitive for not accepting his jokes. Tbh, I had the same thought myself but I honestly don’t think that we should judge each other based on what we watch (unless it’s illegal) if it’s clear that our values are in the right place and that we’re loving and accepting towards each other!

I was just writing something I had to add and I exited out of it by accident 🙂 I’m angry af.

In short- people need to step out of the mentality of “I consume this person’s content therefore I probably worship them.”

You can watch someone’s videos or listen to someone’s music or play someone’s games without agreeing with their actions. You are allowed to like the content even if you dislike the person behind it.

You are also allowed to be friends with someone you don’t agree with all of their actions and sides of personality. Each of us is different, we can’t posibly find someone we’ll agree completely with… Some of us can’t even agree with their own selves.
