Duvet Day

((I have a lot of Danti fluff stored in my documents, so take this little drabble I wrote when I had a duvet day of my own ))

There were only rare occasions when Dark didn’t want to
vacate the bed – he was feeling extremely unwell, or Anti had stayed over.

This time around the latter was the case, and Anti was
wrapped tightly around Dark, and the covers were wrapped around them both. Dark
always woke before the glitch whenever they spent the night together, and by
the time Anti woke, Dark had gotten so comfortable that he didn’t want to move.

“What time is it?” Anti mumbled as he blinked himself awake,
reaching blindly for the bottle of water he had left by the side of the bed.
Handing it to him, Dark cracked his neck and kissed the top of his head.

“Around ten in the morning.” He replied, “You’re awake
early.”

“Shut up I don’t sleep in that late.” Anti grumbled, “What
are ye still doing here?”

“Are you complaining?” Dark chuckled, avoiding the question,
“If you must know, I was waiting for you to get up so I could move. You’re
trapping me.”

“Bullshit.” Anti laughed, propping himself up on Dark’s chest
and looking the ego directly in the eye, “Ye could have moved me anytime ye
wanted to. So, what are ye really doing?”

Nodding to the TV at the end of the bed that was rolling the
credits of a film, Dark stretched and rolled Anti off him, proving the glitch’s
point before groping for the remote.

“Do you want to choose one?” He asked, passing the remote
over to Anti and tilting them slightly in the bed so they were lay diagonally,
Anti’s back pressed against Dark’s chest with Dark’s arms around his waist.

“I dunno, what’ve ye got?”

Scrolling through, Anti eventually decided on the remake of
Beauty and the Beast, almost hearing Dark roll his eyes.

“What?” He asked defensively, “Everyone loves a good Disney
movie.”

“Of course.”

Snuggling back into Dark, Anti listened as the ego quietly
hummed the theme tune as the movie began and quietly laughed, settling down for
a long morning of doing nothing with Dark at his side.
