💙 With Anti~

It was pretty late. You’d agreed to take the extra hours for the overtime pay, and with work being so close you didn’t really have any good excuses not to do it. Your only worry was that Anti would be upset. Your phone had died earlier in the day so you’d had no way of telling him about your later shift.

You were so dead on your feet you didn’t notice the street lights flicker as you walked pass them. You stopped just beneath one on the street corner as you waited for the light to change and you could cross. All the lights on the corners flickered, waking up from the strobe light effect you called out quietly, “Anti? What are you doing here?”

The night air hummed with a bit of white noise and static. The light above you sparked and went out. You’d closed your eyes to keep from being blinded. You were pleasantly surprised when a pair of lips found yours, Anti’s nose brushed against yours in a way that indicated a different angle. You opened your eyes and laughed upon seeing up clinging to the pole of the street light. He’d kissed upside down, “Even for you this is just being silly Anti.”

Dropping off the pole to land neatly Anti grinned, “If a bug man in a mask can do it, I can do it ten times better.”

You shook your head but continued to smile, “Meaning you wanted to try it just to see if you could do it.”

Anti shrugged, putting his arm around your shoulders, “I’m not hearing no complain’ bout it.”

You could only laugh.
