“But how?!” “It should be impossible to ignore something as major as the destruction of a planet, no matter how slow and who you are!!”

“Yeah, well, now that you mention it, it does seem kind of dumb in retrospect.” “But in our defense” pausing to gather his thoughts. “it was a pretty busy time, shit was going down everywhere, and the politicians were really damn stupid.” “Plus the new IPhone had come out.”

“Pardon?” “You placed the existence of a cheap piece of silicon and plastic over the existence of your only planet!?”

It was quite shocking. No, that wasn’t right. It was downright terrifyingly horrific and damning. For both parties, humans and the rest of the Intergalactic Alliance. It was common knowledge that the humans had beaten the impossibly high odds, and not only survived on a literal deathworld, where not only the animals were out to get them, but as Tu’loch had found, the planet had been under the Galamedean Effect, as his race had dubbed it. Heck, they had nearly been wiped out by it, in just fifteen vek.

The humans, terrifying warlords, businessmen, explorers, and discoverers. So much like children, yet so much like the cruel gods in their books. Especially similar to those gods. It was hard to believe something like that had been created, let alone the fact that it had gained such a large following amongst the humans.

There was just one more problem to solve. How could he word this to the Council, without causing mass hysteria, and being remembered eternally as the one who discovered the humans world destroying potential?
