The thing I found kinda interesting about the who killed Markiplier ending was the relationships we had to everyone.
as far as I could tell Damien wasn’t himself from the very start Mark had taken him over. my question is how did we not notice? It appears that Damien was the one we were closest to ( if memory serves the cornel and detective didn’t even know who we were and aside from getting the invitation we didn’t really know our relationship to mark )
Damien however constantly refers to us as an old friend, comfortable coming into our personal space and apperently was in the process of getting us a job with the city ( possibly police work ) so it’s clear he’s the one we’re closest to ( possibly close to Celina it’s hard to tell )
the other thing that stands out to me? Nobody is vexed by or surprised about us having visions, meaning it could possibly be an established fact we had some power ( mark inhabiting Damien’s body may already sense it ) so here’s my own little fun theory I guess
Mark had no real reason to upset with Damien, perhaps his obliviousness but Mark’s rage was directed at the cornel so why would he inhabit Damien’s body? Why not his butler, or the chef or any of the other numerous viable hosts –
I joked a fair bit about us/the pov etc whatever you wanna call it, I joked about us having a crush on Damien or some romantic feelings because of how softly we viewed him, always well kept and lit, sweet and caring with a soothing voice but…. what if we did? What if, knowing we could stop him from taking revenge on The cornel with our power used a crush. What if he knew we had feelings for Damien and exploited that, to keep us distracted and placated not focusing enough to be able to feel what was wrong – not using our powers
and when Celina came he was panicked and scared, knowing she could get us focused long enough to figure out what he was doing before he was finished. So he made sure to kill her, send her to where he sent Damien and even used his powers to manipulate our visions, temporarily leading us off the trail as best as he could such as with the seemingly pointless grounds keeper detour
This makes sense!! (but i still dont trust celine *shifty eyes*)
