“So yeah, uhm,” she giggled, handing him a new set of clothes that she thought would fit his personality well. “This is your room.” The man took the clothes from her and looked around the room, already thinking about how he would decorate it. Houdini posters, he might conjure up a little house for his bunnies and his doves, and maybe he could find a bookshelf for his spell books. The girl with the chin length green hair who was still standing in the doorway interrupted his thinking. “So uh, I’ll leave you alone now, but just call me or hit up one of the guys in you need anything?”
“Yeh’ I will. Thank you,” Marvin smiled, plopping down of his comfortable bed and listening to the creak of the closing door. His bottom lip quivered as he thought about how lucky he was to be here. He had just come into existance, and so quickly he was taken into this home. It was a little off, considering the others looked exactly like him, expect for the girl who called herself Samantha, or Sam for short. He wasn’t going to question it though. He had learned in harsh ways not to question it when good came to him.
He had been briefly introduced to the others that lived there. There was one who had been screaming and shooting foam bullets from an oddly colored gun who was called Chase Brody, another who was sitting calmly on the couch, reading. He introduced himself as Shneep, but Sam said his name was Henrik and Marvin shouldn’t be pressured to call him anything formal. The last one, a loud man who was wearing a red leotard and a blue mask. He was jumping around and wouldn’t stay still long enough for Marvin to shake his hand. He was called Jackaboy Man, but he said it was OK if the magician wanted to call him Jackie.
He had gotten up at this point, laying out the clothes that his new friend had given him. They were nice. She was right when she thought they fit his personality. His feet took him over to the large mirror leaning against the white wall. Pulling at the zipper down his front, he stripped off the tight. Lack fabric that covered his body from neck down. The hero of shiny clothes sat on the ground now, and Marv bent down and sat next to it, grabbing the name tag off it.
Clone #5
He grinned, throwing it back on the floor and glancing at the red bow tie he was gifted with. “It’s a new day,” he smiled.
