Okay so theory time, I was discussing this with ASG discord. I hope this theory does lead to somewhere.
So I was watching this musical called “Be More Chill” and the story is about Jeremy that ate this pill where it has like, a nanotechnology with a supercomputer in it that can control your mind and body. It tells you what to do and just controls you, like a puppet. They’re called Squips.
So how does this relate? Well, Anti is a cyberdemon that lives in Jack’s mind. One of the notable things about the squip from the musical is that it can also ALTER your vision. What if Anti kinda like fucks up Jack’s mind by altering memories and manipulating his vision. Why was Jack so freaked out during the “Layers Of Fear” series? The Cubicle VR video? All during Oct? That’s because his vision could’ve been possibly altered by Anti to make it seem like ITS ACTUALLY REAL, making Jack weaker, thus resulting the takeover happening. Plus, why was Jack so ignorant about Anti during Oct? Same reason, his vision was altered so he wouldn’t see Anti’s zalgo text and the pictures on Instagram.
Quick note: You know how Jack always says, “SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!” ? Well the factor that Jack had insomnia might’ve also played a big role, since Anti could possibly alter his memories when Jack’s not aware, Jack would have trouble sleeping, contemplating whether or not what he sees (the Say Goodbye vid, the pictures all after the takeover) were real or not.
Back to theory! How come we see it? Well that’s because Anti is only manipulating JACK’S (or maybe the other egos as well) vision, but not ours. Like in the musical, The Squip manipulate Jeremy’s (the MC) vision by making him not see his bestie Micheal, because he is somewhat of a threat to him. We’ll get back to that later. Since we’re not threats to Anti, because we’re only watching,theorizing and anything related to Anti. Besides, we can scream “ANTI!!” at Jack all we want during Oct, but he’s not gonna see it because he can’t.
So fast-forward to now, Jack does acknowledge Anti, he knows he is there. Off isn’t it? So why? Well, maybe after Say Goodbye, Jack remembers the whole “Say Goodbye” event like a really weird dream, he could’ve come to terms with Zhe Good Doctah about it. The Doc patched him up, and Jack could’ve also poured out to him about the happenings of Say Goodbye and telling him that people had been thinking he was acting “off” during that time and it was all just some kinda vivid dream. Schneeps could’ve passed it off Jack was being weird, but he’s been noticing that it keeps happening to Jack and wants to find a cure for it. “Alvays vit zhe mood swings”
Mini theory related: During the “Always watching” event, Jack had ask us to record a “message” and Anti appeared. This means he’s already had us infected with him and same goes with Jack, means he can also alter our minds and vision. (Also kinda like in the musical). And what if, only the infected ones see the Zalgo text? Since Google (the search engine) can’t process the Zalgo of “Say Goodbye”
So the real Jack (the one who sees that everything is not right) rn is probably trapped some kinda mind prison, suppressed by Anti.

So while in the mindscape, Anti is making plans and then sees the Doctah is trying to ruin his plan. So obviously now, Schneeplestein is a threat to him. I mentioned earlier about in the musical, the Squip kinda makes Jeremy’s bestie non-existent because he was a threat to his safety. So we all might think that Schneeplestein is dead/corrupted after the whole “Kill Jacksepticeye” event. But consider this, since we’re also infected and so is Jack, we can’t see him because Schneeplestein is blocked from our visions by Anti. In the after Anti videos, we see Jack, but not Schneeplestein, right?We’ve just been manipulated to see that Schneeps had died. So possibly right now, Schneeps is trying to find a way to warn us and get back into our corrupted vision.
Maybe we could give Schneeplestein enough power to breakthrough our corrupted vision by giving him attention! (And maybe try to snuck it under Anti’s nose somehow)
His bday (Sept 15) is near, so that’s a good time!
That’s over for this theory! I try to kinda put it in order of relevance, so soz if it’s still kinda all over the place!
Ooooo, you just reminded me of something!! Last April when we first got hints that Anti was completely technology-based (and I still accept as a hc today), I had an idea that Anti wouldn’t let Jack see ANYTHING suggesting his presence on any screen.
Jack would be oblivious to all the glitches, zalgo text, our warnings/ theories etc.
But your theory supports the fact of why Jack looked scared and worried in the videos themselves- as he was currently recording.
As for us being infected too and we can’t see Schneeple anymore or any of his possible warnings?… Now I’m honestly more curious than ever if something will happen on his b-day.
