It all started with an innocent question.

Where is Mark?

This question began to churn until it began to leave a rather uneasy feeling among many of Mark’s viewers. Where was he and furthermore, was he doing something of importance during his absence?

Personally, I wasn’t aware until I started watching @caustic-synishade ‘s various quips and queries regarding the subject.

These comments pointed to so an almost imperceptible change in the fandom’s atmosphere.

Quite honestly I have to thank @caustic-synishade again for keeping me in the loop and in the know because as I before mentioned I hadn’t been looking for anything.

They along with @lum1natrix have created a very detailed post that explains the markiplier conspiracy theory of sorts. Here’s a snippet:
