SAME. I’d much rather Mark (and I mean Mark Fischbach the person, not Markiplier the YT personality) take his time on creating something amazing that he loves, than pump out vids that he isn’t putting his whole heart into.
Personally, I thought the breakneck pace of his vid release was taking too much out of him. Combine that with a grueling tour (which is something he wanted to do, but ended up far bigger than anyone anticipated), as well as the near-impossible standards he holds himself to professionally, fan expectations and how he wants to give us everything he’s got in him… That’s an awful lot to expect from one man.
He’s been looking and sounding pretty tired over the last few months, as far as I can tell, and he hasn’t been as active on social media as before. He works very hard, and he’s more than earned a chance to take a breather and recharge creatively. If this means he can get back on an even keel, and not lose his mind in the process, I’m all for it.
I’d rather he upload occasionally and be happy and healthy, than run himself into the ground trying to premiere two videos a day 24/7/365.
