Not only that but Muslims, ¼ of the world population. 800 million cannot read. Not ONE university in the top 300 worldwide. 80% are on welfare in Europe. Dead last in human’s rights, IQ per country and Women’s right studies. No intellect, No sports, No cinema, No books, except one about a bloody conquerer prophet who married a 9 years old child. 57 muslims countries combined produce less in GDP than Japan or Germany economy alone, less than 1/5 of usa. Absolute zero in Olympics. Most are runned by crazy dictators and monsters and if they are removed out, civil war follows between two goat f****** factions, all for centuries. Zero evolution. They reproduce like rats, yet they don’t work or want to work. Finally they want to go to countries they hate to turn them into the s******** they came from, how beautiful this world will become.

Except he *is* wrong. All the specific numbers I bothered checking were at least a little wrong, but more importantly some of it is absurd (“No intellect, No sports, No cinema, No books” is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read in my life – it goes so far beyond ‘wrong’ that we may need to invent a new word for it) and the rest of it is a massive confusion of cause and effect.
The problem isn’t Islam. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan, but if you look at almost any religion you will find some seriously dangerous and backwards shit. Are all Muslims terrorists? Obviously not. Are all terrorists Muslim? Hah! Just kidding we could not possibly forget about the numerous Christian terrorists. So then why are there all these Muslim countries with seriously awful shit going on?
Because it had to be something.
If it hadn’t been Islam it would have been Christianity, or Judaism, or something else. The problems are human psychology, religious fundamentalists, and theocracy.
Oh, and assholes like the one that wrote that absurd paragraph. Yes, they are absolutely a big part of the problem. You see, groups like ISIS like to recruit by using these dickwads. They LOVE when we demonize a fifth of the world’s population! They think that’s GREAT! Because the vast, vast majority of Muslims aren’t terrorists and that makes ISIS sad. So when you lump them all together and say absurdly bigoted shit (dead last in “IQ per country”? What the fuck does that even mean? And do you understand that – to the extent that intelligence is even a measurable thing – there is no one group of people that naturally are more or less intelligent in any of the ways we can measure it? I mean this is some pretty basic stuff, you twat) it makes ISIS all horny because they can say “LOOK! They hate you! They think you’re sub-human! Fuck these guys!” and it starts to look like a compelling argument.
So.
We don’t need to pretend all Muslims are super nice people. That’s bullshit. But it’s equally bullshit to place the blame on something so broad as “being Muslim”. That’s an awful wide net you’re casting. If you want to rail against the shitty people of the world, good! Let’s do that! But let’s identify them properly. Otherwise it’s you. You’re one of the shitty people of the world.
I’m an atheist. I have no love for any religion, and if I went to several Muslim majority countries I would be in genuine risk of being murdered by a gang of people with machetes. Really, this has happened multiple times. I’m not sugar coating the horrific shit that goes on. I’m just saying you can address this stuff with lies and bigotry and hatred that actually MAKES IT WORSE, or you can address the actual problems and actual causes and leave the people that aren’t the problem alone like you’re a decent human being.
We are in a religious war.
