.When the Sides first met the Egos Patton maked note of how Dark took one look at him and walked off. This really confused Patton but he focused on the other Egos.
.Patton has this calming effect on the Egos and so when he and the other Sides come to visit everyone suddenly feels much happier and safer even if they were just in a room with Dark. This has almost the opposite effect on Darkiplier, he starts to feel uneasy and angry and tries to avoid Patton at every turn.
.Patton was wandering around the Egos building when he spotted Dark walking alone in a hallway. He said Hello to him and Dark turned to him with a mixture of shock, disgust and confusion. Patton was a little hurt by this but he pushed on and tried to strike up a conversation with Dark. Dark’s expression changed to his usual glare and humored Patton by speaking to him.
.They talked for moment when Patton said that he didn’t why everyone was so scared of Dark. This made Dark pause as his shell cracked letting out an almost animal like shout. Patton didn’t cower like Dark had hoped in fact he asked if Dark was okay.
.Dark’s auras started flaring up as he tried to leave the conversation, Patton noticed this but said nothing about it choosing to just say goodbye and leave Dark alone.
.Patton said Hello everytime he saw Dark and only received a grunt in return. Dark started to question why Patton was so kind to others and to him, both Damien and Celene tried their hardest to keep calm whenever Patton was around.
.Patton reminded Celene of what Damien used to be, kind to everyone even those that didn’t deserve it which she believed applied to Dark. Damien hated Patton’ s attitude because he was he hurt by his own kindness and still after all this time misses what he used to be and Patton is a reflection of himself which Damien can’t stand but still yearns for.
.Patton once lost his cool with Dark and actually punched him when he saw Dark belittling the other Sides. Patton apologised for the punch but he still stood by how he felt and stated that he believed Dark could be so much more than just a shadowy nightmare. Dark actually yelled at Patton as he couldn’t understand how he could see any good in him. Patton said that there is good in everyone and he wanted to help Dark see that.
.Dark’s red aura clung to Patton whenever they were in the same room while his blue aura would only flare up at the mention of giving people a second chance. ( which Patton found himself saying to a lot to the Egos when they came to talk to him about their problems.) It seemed that Celene and Damian had made their minds up about how they felt about Patton though Dark as a whole was unsure.
(Tbh, I’m very scared of making this post, but I’m gonna go for it.)
“Why do I make promises that I can’t keep?” Soft music starts to play in the background as Mark gently stares into the camera. “…I wanted to ask questions that I ask myself”. A few moments later, he reiterates “Why do I make promises that I can’t keep?”.
“It’s not a thing out of maliciousness or it’s not me out-right lying to you guys, ….” He talks of ambition, and the desire to strive for even bigger projects “I often find myself making promises that I don’t keep up with”.
This video that I am quoting is inspiring, touching, and absolutely memorable.
But It’s AlaskanBlueJay that is inspiring to me. After thinking about everything that I’m about to discuss, Mark unintentionally discourages me in this video.

And @markiplier….If you’re somehow reading this: I truly hope you think about it. I love and idolize you, but I think you may need to hear this.
Someone most likely a human has uttered the phrase “fuck it” in your immediate vicinity. If these phrases mattered by a human it is advised that you take immediate safety precautions the human phrase fuck it is usually followed by potentially life-threatening actions by humans. Extreme caution is advised
For Additional Reading on human phrase’s : fuck that
“Fuck that” means almost exactly the opposite: that the human refuses to engage in potentially life-threatening actions and is, if given the option, likely going to leave the area entirely.
Exception: The human is told to surrender peacefully. The human answers “Fuck that.” or sometimes “Fuck you.”
Be prepared to just comply with the human and you should survive.
This is a fancomic for the amazing @thejacksepticeye . I know I don’t have long left but every breath is a battle I’ve won. Who knows, I may win the war and live long enough to have a family of my own someday.
I want to thank @lucid-lines for giving me that push to actually make this after years of wanting to. I was just gonna make a two page, colourless. And well, this happened.
Please reblog this and tag Jack if you can- I really hope he sees this one! Itll make all those sleepless nights worth it!
i know beginner artists are annoyed at the word ‘practice’ being thrown at them by every other artist but i honestly think some of you need to understand the harsh truth. practice is really the only way to improve your art. there are no shortcuts, no tips, no nothing that can turn you into that artist you wanna be. i’m still learning but i knew that frustration well a few months ago. but i had to learn the hard way that i wasn’t going anywhere if i didn’t work.
you 👏will👏not👏get👏better👏with👏out👏practice👏 !!!!
you will not magically turn into a ‘good’ artist overnight. start working. look up references. study anatomy. practice poses and expressions. PRACTISE
IT TOOK ME 8 YEARS of practice TO GET THIS FAR, its the truth
The reason the culture of ‘depression meme humour’ got big was because it was a rebellious backlash against a dominant social attitude that You Just Weren’t Trying Hard Enough which deliberately swept mental health issues under the rug. Turning ‘positivity’ into the cool new meme is a noble idea, but in practice, unless it’s done with care and understanding instead of just a desire to perform what people in your social circles seem to want to see, all it’s doing is recreating a culture of artificial cheerfulness, where deviation is punishable by ostracization. And that’s not a healthy or ‘positive’ environment for anyone.
I’m usually a big proponent of positive bandwagons – even if people only join them because they see it’s popular, they’re still getting exposure to a thing they might not have otherwise – but if the only reason you’re jumping on ‘positivity’ is so you can make snarky comments about all those losers still wallowing in last year’s meme, rather than out of genuine care and concern for people’s well-being, then there’s nothing at all positive about what you’re doing.
