do you think that if nick were given the chance to have his mind transferred o a gen 3 synth, he would take it? It certainly would solve a few issues (like not having to shove a fucking screwdriver in his wrist every 5 minutes, or like…not forgetting things because your memory has like…2mb of storage)
a majestic hybrid between a cat and peacock and I scroll down just to see “peacat”
i will fight you
I want one!!!!!!
imagine it though
I’m reblogging this again to say this thing would be the dumbest asshole animal ever
exactly, that’s why it’s so great
oh my gosh. the cutest doofiest cryptid
he would be so loud and you would never get him off the roof
As someone who takes care of feral cats, I am disappointed that we have missed out on the beautiful opportunity to call this creature by its breed… a Domestic Short-Cock
so i really love the ideas in “humans are weird” posts but i’ve never seen this addressed even tho it is probably the weirdest part of humans because we share it with only 4 other species.
that’s right ladies and gents and highnesses
i’m talking about periods
i’m the type who faces problems by researching them to feel less weird about them and i always get on a menstruation research kick when my period comes around and leaves me bedridden
so i was wondering what other mammals have periods, bc i know a lot don’t and i was surprised that only humans, apes, monkeys, two types of bats, and elephant shrews actually menstruate
we don’t really know why, just theories for the most part, but it was fascinating to learn we’re in a severe minority when it comes to how we reproduce compared to our fellow mammals
so it got me thinking about when we go to space and meet other space-fairing mammals/oviparouses (that’s apparently what animals that lay eggs are called) and they are astounded with how we handle our wombs
and i love the stories included in posts like this so i’ll write one for an example:
Human Sarah had been acting odd lately, seeming more snappish and impatient in her social life. Ulqa’vaar had noticed a spike in certain chemicals from Human Sarah when checking her life signs. Xhe was concerned and considered Human Sarah a nestmate, or “friend” in Human standards, and checked on her as xhe knew how.
But one morning, as Human Sarah met xer for breakfast in xer private quarters, Ulqa’vaar’s olfactory senses detected human blood. Xhe began chittering in concern and asked if the physician needed to be contacted, but Human Sarah only seemed confused. When Ulqa’vaar explained that xhe feared the Human had been harmed, Human Sarah simply laughed and explained the human form of failed reprodution called “menstruation.”
Xhe was horrified. Why would a Human body decide to shed its womb rather than reabsorb the nutrients as the Eldmorane did. Human Sarah did not know but addressed the fact that most Terran mammals did as the Eldmorane.
Ulqa’vaar settled with the idea that Humans were evolutionary miracles in the way they evolved at all and simply let the subject pass.
So, if you go back a little through my blog, youll see i was recently reblogging and looking at a lot of ‘Humans are space Australians’ and similar tags. And I was thinking about the impatience thing how that was supposedly like a pure ‘predator thing’, but like
its not?
think about. Its seen a lot in nature. Fish using lights as lures for prey. Leopards standing at the edge of water, waiting to catch a crocodile or, hell, even scavengers do it, like when crows or buzzards follow other larger predators like wolves and bears to eat the left over corpse.
impatience isnt a predator thing. Patience is. And our mode of hunting is best suited for it. We’re pursuit predators, our whole thing is waiting and to keep going long after anything else would have stopped.
So imagine thats one of the things we are known for. Sure, we’re impatient at times, how else would we have become so advanced, but when the moment needs it we can sit silent for hours at a time,
barely breathing,
eyes moving, always moving. sometimes our body deceptively loose so that at any moment we can move into immediate action.
Imagine were part of some investigation, and afer every other alien has tried to question a suspect or w/e, a human walks in and just
sits there
looking at them, not saying anything, maybe looking at files, and this last for hours. And sometimes the human would pace, still looking at files, maybe drinking something. But this just puts the suspect on edge until finally they break down out of fear or being tired
today i learned that, when Jared Leto sent Margot Robbie a live rat as a part of his rude, bullshit “method acting” fo Suicide Squad, she was scared but still refused to abandon or harm the rat.
she overcame her initial fear in order to buy him a proper set up and take care of him until she found the rat a reliable owner, who… ended up being Guillermo del Toro for some reason?
so yeah that’s what happened with the Suicide Squad rat
Based on a true story (minus I was actully playing as Soldier but I’m 4-ever a Hanzo main<3) when my team was blessed with a Motivational/House Club Mercy ❤ I even recorded some of it to get the lines right XD
Sadly we lost: my sacrifice wasn’t enough ; – ;
Again a old comic that was laying about. For awhile I drew down some thumbnail comics in my art pad based on my experience in Overwatch: basically my way to take out my frustration of toxic people in Comp.
Might go back to them and draw them into finished comic forms aswell x v x
