OK, I know this is heartbreaking, but it’s still really important. Because even with heroes like Peter Parker who do their best to make the world a better place, there will still be tragedy and heartache and the people they help may still get hurt. BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING.
What matters is that we do our best and keep trying to help people. Because the greatest and most powerful act that heroes do isn’t saving people, it’s inspiring people to become heroes themselves.
Two pages got left out in the middle there. Peter goes after those guys who killed the kid because they thought he brought the cops on them.
A non-quipping Spider-Man dropping down on you is probably the most terrifying thing a bad guy will ever see in their life.
