Headcanon #I lost count
V hates the vacuum.
It’s loud, big, obnoxious but the apartment does feel better after a good cleaning.
They slink up or down stairs to avoid it’s sound and always Eddie tries to make it quick for them.
But when the babies are brought home V Is about ready to jump on top the roof taking their little tots with them.
They are so young and tiny they could rush over to their father and get sucked into the hell machine if he’s distracted.
On top of that it was so loud it sent most of the children into crying panics. V was about ready to tear the carpet off the floors so they wouldn’t even need the vacuum. Only they’re desire to keep Eddie out of trouble from doing so.
Eddie would of probably let them tear out the carpet. He hated how much the vacuum of all things scared the little ones so much.
The time when he finished the living room and came upstairs to let V know the coast was clear he saw his whole little family bundled up to V with tiny frightened wide eyes as V stretched themselves thin to rock and sooth the little ones. It shattered his heart into pieces.
He ended up in front of Stark with the desire to make sure the little ones felt safe at their new home they’ve already been through enough.
That desire to make them feel safe over shadowed his pride and he ended up asking for money he didn’t have for one of those fancier quite ones. Explaining how his rickety loud one wasn’t ideal around sound sensitive symbiote children.
Surprisingly Stark gave him no shit and was actually pretty willing to help him out. Even if he hated Eddie at least he was willing to help his kids.
Ol’ rickety reliable was tossed and the new vacuum barely made a peep. While V still kept the babies miles away from it at least it didn’t have a roar that scared little symbiotes.
