I hope @therealjacksepticeye sees this and if it’s accurate, likes it because I woke up at like 6am in a cold sweat and could not stop thinking about this theory until I got up 2 hours later to actually write it, and it’s taken me 3 hours to write it all. This theory elaborates on what I suggested here.
I also want to bring up @nich-moon‘s theory here again because Jack reblogged it, so it must be important.
As much as I’ve been denying the fact (both jokingly and not), I’m starting to genuinely believe Chase is corrupted, and here’s my “timeline” for it.
It begins with Dark Silence, of course.
This is the LAST moment we see in the video before it goes black, Anti presumably walking right up to Chase. And we don’t know what happened after.
But then we see him again later on, seemingly alright… Until the end of Exiles.
Where his eyes start to bleed. Where have we seen bleeding eyes before?
October 2016 and the Summer 2017 Antipocalypse before Kill Jacksepticeye dropped.
We’ve long since then become confident bleeding eyes are a sign of corruption. But this isn’t even where the concern stops.
Look at the right side of his face (left in the picture) from 3 Scary Games, 1 Video #7. It’s tinted green. Like half of him is Anti.Where have we seen that before?
October 2016 and Kill Jacksepticeye.
But hear me out–
Anti isn’t targeting Chase just because he can. He’s targeting him for the same reason he targeted Schneep.
He’s trying to save Jack.
Jack was sick on his deathbed and Henrik was trying to save him. Anti interfered and kidnapped him for 9 months.
Chase was trying to wake Jack up at the end of Stories Untold Part 2. (“Jack. Jack! This is Chase, you need to wake up.”) and told us all about how Jack was in a coma in Tie. Both videos came before Dark Silence.
Chase was trying to save Jack from whatever he might be suffering through in his coma thanks to Anti. Anti didn’t like that. So he went after Chase.
Using his kids to lure him, at the end of Dark Silence, he comes after Chase, and I think what we didn’t see, was him doing whatever it is he does in order to corrupt his victims.
It’s been in plain sight this whole time, we stopped paying attention. Just to name a few, here’s some videos and series on the channel that have had both Chase-like comments in them, as well as glitches or Anti vibes.

So with all of this in mind…
Is this actually Anti like we thought? No, I think I’ve changed my mind. I think this is Chase, and those gauges are just another sign of corruption hidden in plain sight. After all, this picture wasn’t the first time he met a fan. Remember that girl who met him on the street and he signed her Chase hat as “Chase Brody”?
Chase is already, if not, slowly becoming corrupted. The question is, how long until it takes full affect, when, and how bad will it be?
