Can I point out just how incredible the Deltarune soundtrack is now? 

Because, these moments Jack thought he was hearing Undertale music? Most of the time, he was actually wrong. The only reason it sounds familiar is because that same melody (and the final “don’t forget, I’m with you in the dark” pattern) is snuck in a ton of other places in the game from start to finish, so by the time you get to the end, it sounds like something you’ve heard before.

And, well, by this point, you have. 

(to be clear: there are moments in the game where melodies from Undertale are present, but these specific times I put together for this video were merely Toby Fox’s brilliant musical mindf*ckery at work– and this isn’t even all of them in the game, that’d be a much longer video :P)
