If the house fire has only consumed the kitchen so far, is it really worth calling the fire department?? I mean, only a few things have been lost. The whole house hasn’t burned down, so why should we do anything yet?? (/sarcasm).

I mean, if my car doesn’t run but still has a frame and wheels, I guess I still technically have a car too. It’s not gonna do me much good though. So should I really complain if it doesn’t get me to work?? I mean, I still have the car. (/sarcasm).
