I know this is a tad more serious, but what Mark is doing, making fun of anyone who makes any theory is not okay. Longer post to come with citations, but with everything he’s done, the fandom is just done with making any theories at all. In this recent bs, we know he’s up to something but tbh there haven’t really been any theories bc he makes fun of anyone who makes them..

I understand how you feel but I also hope you understand context matters as much as the words. Mark was joking around with his fans, the second he has to be careful around us is the second things get bad. He is honest with us and jokes about whatever pops up in his head. There arn’t many YouTubers or public figure that cares about the individuals that helped get him to where he is today! I myself theorize on Darkiplier and other subjects in this fandom and I did NOT feel offended by his words. Why? Because his intention was not to hurt anyone. If you are sensitive to his words, I’m really sorry. But there was no ill will in his words nor would he seriously hate people theorizing on his work. And on the point you made on “there haven’t been any theories bc he makes fun of anyone who makes them”, that’s not true. At least for me because I have a made a few theories as of late, reblogged some very intersting theories and seen them frequently as I am watch the tags all the time. So to my knowledge, that does not seem to be the case. Unless you have proof of this, I won’t change my mind. I get it, a lot of people are concerned that Mark might be acting in a way that they dislike, but things like this might be the reason one day he might interact with Tumblr less. Or not cause I don’t think he would care about anyone’s opinion and I think that’s a smart way to live your life! The way I deal with tumblr, is not to take every little thing seriously and to step back when things get too much. You have your opinion and I have mine. I respect that you feel this way, absolutely!
