Wilford is a man broken. Insane, unorthodox, impulsive and filled with PTSD.

But in the end, it doesn’t make him evil.

Watching him try and calm and talk Abe into letting go of the past and to accept the truth of the present, it made me feel like he was a sort of spirit guide, like something that helps you realize it’s all over but that it’s ok to move on.

Mind you, he’s not, he’s a crazed man that has issues galore, kills indiscriminately, albeit he no longer has the ability to comprehend that those lives are actually being altered, and parties and frolics like a teen on drugs.

None of it matters, he really doesn’t care that it happens or not, since it doesn’t matter. Hell he can hop timelines and fuck with your reality (no thanks to that damn house).

But there’s still that part of him that clings to… something…

He doesn’t know, he doesn’t want to always remember. But he’s still clinging.

For him, seeing Abe being in the same predicament, gave Will a bit of hope that he doesn’t have to be alone in this.

So, why not have fun as the world around them crashes and burns? Why not watch as our lives melt away?

It’s always been out of their hands, forcefully taken.

Madness is just the sweet frosting on the cake, that is also a lie!

Why not swipe a bit and have some fun!
