The way Wilford is portrayed as an insane goofball most of the time is heavily messed with and beautifully toned down in this.
It’s not that he truly forgot everything.
It’s that none of it matters, anymore.
So, he’s a tad jaded, and if any cynicism is there, it’s almost invisible by the way he goes about things. His poster, his tone.
He wasn’t even hateful or angry of Abe. In fact, he was slowly and gently trying to show him that, all this time, it’s been different. It’s all done.
In the end, it no longer matters.
But Abe still subconsciously pushes.
And my Lord do I love the extras! You all did damn phenomenal, darlings!!! I sure as hell KNOW Mark is proud of y’all!
