And couldn’t help but wonder about some of the things we have noticed so far.
Firstly, we noticed after his break, he’s been forgetting his usual intro. It started as something silly, until a few days later, which I will get to in a bit.
In GNOG, Jack brought up “going to Chase’s house” I believe this ties into how Chase refers to Jack as one of his best friends. They have known each other for god knows how long and we know that Chase has been with Stacy. But after Stacy left and Jack fell into a coma, it broke him down and sent him into a heavy state of depression. And so far, he’s the only ego who holds a connection with him besides Anti and possibly Schneep.
After a few days, we get another Enter The Gungeon (awesome game btw). But the beginning immediately throws us off with it’s intro:
“Bottom of the night to ya lassies”
While a lot of us find it to be silly, and I totally agree, what really throws us off is this. Back in 2017, there was a post talking about how that would be Jack’s intro on opposite day and Jack reblogged it saying “It’s Anti’s intro” So that makes you think could this be Anti, or is Jack’s memory possibly being tampered with? We also noticed that Jack has been “forgetting” some things. And according to some studies, if the brain damage is extremely servere, the person who wakes up from a coma could lose their memory, while some people wake up with some or most their memories.
Back to the video, another thing we’ve noticed is that Jack spoke in a voice VERY close to sounding like Chase and even said things Chase has said. What I’m thinking is either
1. Chase has been possessed by Anti and is currently fighting for control, hence why we heard things from both egos
2. Chase has been recording for Jack for the last while and Anti has been slightly tampering with them but has been in hiding, waiting for the right time to strike.
And speaking of Chase, some people have been bringing up the possibility that he has been abused. Now, we all know Jack makes dad jokes quite a lot. But…what if Chase is making these jokes as a way to be harsh on himself? (Am i the only one who thinks this?)
Because we all know he’s a dad. So maybe he’s pretending to be a abused child as a way to say “Yeah. I’m a bad father because I can’t take care of my kids for shit.” Because self harm, especially verbal is a sign of depression. And we know he drinks to ease the pain so maybe either there is a connection to his past regarding it or it’s just the way he thinks is the only way to help him. And in this video he has said a lot of things that gives off serious vibes that could be connected to them.
I might be either over-analyzing this or just making up shit. But we’ll have to wait and see right guys?
If that is the case, the dark silence skit makes more sense now. ‘Jack’ even said himself, “What will you find behind the ‘door of life’? What will you find in the deepest darkest depths of your mind?”
Robin stated that this was Chase in the ‘Dark Silence’ video, but we saw Anti in the doorway. Anti came charging for Chase without a minute to lose.
Taking off of Jack’s quote ‘door of life’, that means that Anti is messing with Chase’s life in some form, way, or fashion, but how you ask? In the ‘deepest darkest depths of his mind.’ He knows that Chase is not at his best currently, which indicates that he is WEAK, (Anti’s favorite word) so what a better time for him to take control of his mind. Jack may be going to Chase’s house just to speak with him, but he doesn’t know that ‘his control’ is taking place, and the worst part about it is if he is this forgetful that he can’t even get his intro done, it’ll only be a matter of time before he forgets everything and everyone. I guess Anti wasn’t wrong when he said ’ I’m in control’.
