What’s the UK’s stance on monsters? I hope we Brits like monsters in your AU ;_;

What I imagine went down was like… they saw how the USA reacted and decided that was probably the wrong way to do things. So while they’ve been cautious, they also have been making an effort to promote friendly monster-human relations. It also helps that there have been some previously hidden members of the fae community that have come out of hiding, and some of them are beloved celebrities. So there’s a lot of people in europe who are like “How can we deny citizenship to them?! I loved them in last year’s Eurovision! If anyone denies them their rights then I will riot!” …Of course those celebrities are putting huge targets on their backs by doing this, so most fae prefer to still remain hidden. So while there will always be people who fear monsters, the culture in most of Europe seems distinctly leaning in the monsters’ favor.
