jack wasn’t in a coma. he never was. BUT he’s hasnt been in control of his memories since 2016

Anti was right, he’s been in conrtol all this time. Jack never realised it, but anti kept altering his perception of reality, kept making him forget

“forgotten or just too afraid to remember”

Jack’s been trapped behind the screen that Anti placed in front of him ever since halloween.

detention was the first time he was reaching out, then a cry for help in ALWAYS WATCHING, the morse code SOS then just giving up in KILL JSE had not Schneeplestein intervened and tried to help. 

and while schneep didnt totally succeed, maybe that was when jack was able to slowly remember more

and he remembered in DDLC’s tag’s before they were deleted: 

“canyouhearme, i remember what happened”

only for that to be deleted and overnightwatch passing by unbeknownst to him but NOTICED TO ALL OF US

but now, finally. 9 months later. all the egos trying to help him out. 

he remembers what he did to him.
