Schneep gets up one night, unable to sleep, and goes to the bathroom to splash some cold water in his face and try to relax. He dries off and looks up in the mirror and screams when he sees his reflection strangling himself with a black cord.
Schneep gasps and falls down onto the tile floor. A warm, sticky substance covers his palms, and he raises his hands to look at them only to find them covered in blood. Don’t look, don’t look, he thinks, but it’s too late. He looks over and sees Chase and Jack, both dead. Jack’s throat is sliced open, and Chase bleeds from a bullet wound in the side of his head.
Both gone. Both because of Anti.
Schneep crawls over to them. “No, no, no! My friends!” Sobs rack his body as his hands flutter over them, but he knows it’s too late. “Jack! Chase! I’m so sorry!”
He hears a crackle of static and feels a chill run up and down his spine as Anti leans down over his shoulder and whispers, “Pity you couldn’t save them, huh Doc?”
Schneep grips his hands into fists on his knees and watches as his vision fills with tears. “No… no…”
When he wakes up, he’s still crying, but he doesn’t get up. He just pulls his pillow over his head and tries to ignore the pain in his neck like something is wrapped tightly around it.
……. ouch.
Does Schneep have nightmares about being possesed by Anti? They live together now, so this must be stressful a little bit for him.
