Dr. Schneeplestein HC #1

A man struggles on the operating table, his head and limbs tightly restrained with straps. A bright light shines on him, the only light in the room. The monitor next to the table is sounding like an alarm as the man frantically struggles. His eyes are covered but he seems to know what’s coming.

The doctor stands next to the table, sorting through his carefully-organized tools. The look in his eyes is terrible and focused. Determined.

He lifts a syringe and tests the needle, his eyes darkening as they shift to the man on the table. The doctor doesn’t know who he is. He doesn’t really care. All he knows is that he is the same height and build and blood-type as Jack. An optimal choice to recreate the disaster that he couldn’t stop.

But Henrik wasn’t worried. He was one of the best in his craft. No matter how many subjects failed, no matter how many experiments, he would find a way to save his friend.

Just a few more tests.
