Just to watch Schneeplestein be corrupted and taken away for trying to save Jack.
But what I think people are neglecting to remember- why we distrusted Schneeplestein in the first place. Why we put Schneeplestein and Anti together.
Schneeplestein is NOT a good person.
From his first appearance talking about putting his patient under intentionally so he can take out his own sadistic pleasure, and all the way to Bio Inc Redemption 4 where he dehumanises his patients with insulting names, and seemingly is sneaking back into a hospital after hours to undo the work of the doctors- I don’t think there’s any question that Schneeplestein is one twisted motherfucker. And as much as he was our hero for attempting to save Jack in Kill Jacksepticeye, I don’t think we should forget about these factors at all.
At best, Schneeplestein is (forgive the pun) an anti-hero.
Now, since it is to be noted that Bio Inc Redemption 4 took place 2 months before KJSE, plus with the tags of “c̡͡rá̵͞cķ͘͠ś͢”> , is it likely that Dr Schneeplestein’s words and actions in this episode are the result of a premature corruption within him? Sure. But there are some traits, like the refusal of help (or boosters in the case of KJSE), and his general willingness to sedate patients to keep them out for this personal gain? That kind of thinking has been always been within Schneeplestein.
So I don’t think, even if we count that Bio Inc 4 MAY have been under the slight influence of Anti, we can argue that Schneeplestein is a good person. And honestly…
If Schneeplestein was talking in that way due to premature corruption in Bio Inc 4, what do you think 6 months of a complete and total breakdown of Schneeplestein is going to have done to him? And if that video WASN’T corruption, then Schneeplestein is clearly a LONG way gone by default.
How much of a push from Anti would Schneeplestein REALLY need to become a full-on monster?
Have you stopped to consider that with just a nudge in the right direction from Anti, Schneeplestein could be far worse than ANY of us imagined? He doesn’t glitch, he’s not an immediately recognisable threat. And that’s one of the worst things. We’d accept the good doctor with open arms if he suddenly appeared again- we want him back, so, so badly, don’t we?
We’re so god damn focused about ANTI, Anti’s the bad guy, Anti is the threat, but after spending all that time fucking around with Schneeplestein in the head that he was almost driven to SUICIDE in Kill Jacksepticeye, have we stopped to consider that the worst monster is the one we’re so concerned about?
