Okay listen to me for a sec:

What if the last poem is w/ the detective?

“Coronel if you can hear this, you better run.”

The last thing we hear in the series is the detective saying these words.

He is alive and recovered enough for a game of catch. And that will be possible to see on his poem(if he does have one)

o.o this actually makes a lot of sense

Who is with Damien when we first walk into the manor’s lounge?

Abe

The poems are based around the order in which the characters are presented.

Even though we don’t talk to Abe at first, he’s still the next major character we see.

Another thing: Abe isn’t one of the main 3 characters. He’s an outsider. The poem is in 3rd person POV, the view of an outsider.

But Abe doesn’t know Mark “sold his soul” Abe thinks he’s dead

Yes, but it’s possible that after all of the supernatural things that happened throughout the night, Abe could’ve put 2 and 2 together. Plus since Celine was into the Arcane Arts and such, he could’ve had an idea about the supernatural in the 4th chapter. And since he lived past the ending of the last chapter, he could’ve still looked through the house and found something to suggest that Mark hadn’t been the man he once knew.

Another thing to point out about how this could be Abe is that he and Mark were friends for years. Abe would’ve found out about how Celine cheated on Mark and how he went into a depressive episode (“His heart had lost it’s spark”). Abe would’ve known about how hurt Mark was about the situation and how unhappy he was. He wasn’t Mark anymore.
