This is what the internet could potentially look like without net neutrality.
Like Jack said, it’s worth taking action for. If you aren’t too sure what net neutrality is, don’t be afraid to research to get a better understanding. Don’t be afraid to use your voice and fight for it.
Visit www.battleforthenet.com for information and to find out what YOU can do to join the battle.
I’ve watch so many of us come together to support h3h3 and the fight for fair use on YouTube and I know that we can all come together for this battle as well.
If you are apart of YouTube communities like I am, you need to care. I said the following in my post about fair use and it’s relevant for this post as well:
You need to be involved in the outcome because it will impact the YouTube community.
Only this time, it’s not just the YouTube community. It’s social media. It’s streaming services. It’s so much more.
Someone who relies on YouTubers to help get them through their day is at risk of losing that service.
Someone who uses Facebook to stay in contact with their family is at risk of losing that service.
Someone who uses Spotify to stream calming music to help them with their anxiety is at risk of losing that service.
Get angry. Get involved. Fight for net neutrality.
