The Mirror

Wilford sat alone in his room, clutching Damien’s cane close to his chest, “please… it’s all a joke… it was all just a game…” tears streamed down his cheeks.

He looked over to see his mirror, a person staring back at him, “y-y/n?” He asked, standing up and walking to his mirror.

“Colonel…” you had been traveling mirrors for years, trying to find your friends again, with the hope of someone being able to get you out of them, “it’s been so long my friend.”

“Y/n… how long have you been searching for me?” Wilford placed his hand on the mirror, his connecting with yours.

“Years, I’ve traveled to many different places, non of which I wanted to be. I want to join you again, to be able to be with my friends,” you cracked a small smile, your white shirt bloodied from where you were shot.

Wilford saw the blood, more tears forming in his eyes, “I’m… I’m so sorry y/n! It was an accident!” He was breaking down further and further.

You almost came to tears yourself, seeing your friend break down once again, it wasn’t his fault, it was the house. If it wasn’t for that damn curse you wouldn’t be trapped in this mirror.

“William,” your voice softened, sounding like caramel, “it wasn’t your fault, I forgive you, I always have.” You ran you hand through your hair, trying to figure out some way to comfort your friend, but you started to fade away.

“N-no!” Wilford cried out, trying to reach through the mirror to grab your hand, “don’t leave me! Y/n! P-please!” Wilford looked around the room, “come out! This has to be another joke… right…?” When he looked back at the mirror, you were gone.

Mark had taken you away from him, away from your friends. Mark set this up, this pain, and wilford knew he had to get you back. And he was going to do anything to accomplish that.

(First of all, thank you for tagging me! I’m honored you wanted my opinion!!)

You should definitely continue this story. It’s a good concept, I really like it! If anything, I would say continuity with character names.
