Fic Prompts: Transformers Tuesday
“They’re real, Arcee, I swear,” Sideswipe yelped, diving to save his datapad.
“Right. Tiny organic people living on Cybertron. How come no scanner has ever picked one up?” Arcee snorted.
“I have a theory about that!” Sideswipe frantically flipped through documents on the pad and held up a poorly drawn diagram. “They’re organic, right? Which means they’re like the bottom of any food chain in the universe. So they’d have learned how to hide from hunters or they’d be extinct. Also since they’re squishy meat people, their bodies are like, fifteen times quieter than ours. Masters of stealth.”
Passing through the commissary on his way to a meeting, Wheeljack paused. “That part actually checks out, Commander,” he called over, “It’s just that the rest is all conjecture.”
Arcee sighed and waved him off. “Sideswipe,” she turned to address the younger Autobot, “May I ask just what it was that brought on this belief in tiny people living on Cybertron?”
Sideswipe fidgeted for a few seconds, then mumbled something unintelligible.
“Speak up, soldier. What was that?”
Shoulders hunched miserably, Sideswipe admitted, “I saw one sabotage the energon dispenser two cycles ago.”
A soft explosion from the other side of the commissary punctuated his statement. Arcee twitched visibly.
