So, you know how with Jurassic Park we sometimes say that the aliens think of it as history? Well, what about our live-action movies…with superheroes? What if they didn’t realize that they weren’t actually events?
“So, where does this Superman hide? I have tried to find his city and been unsuccessful. Also, I have not found the Batman City, or seen the Spider-man, or the Iron Man.” The Riichalkan let its tail swish back and forth as it excitedly held a map of the United States in its paws.
His human guide tried not to panic. “What? You…oh…you know about them?”
“Yes! They are amazing! How do they not crossover? I also love the Arrow and Supergirl and Flash! And the Agents of the Shield!”
His human guide was twitching. Forget the fact that this alien thought the heroes were real. He also didn’t realize that Marvel and DC heroes should not mix. Well, it would be interesting, but it shouldn’t happen.
“Which is your favorite hero, Sara?”
“I have three.” She answered, trying to figure out how to let him down easy.
“Which ones?”
“Wonder Woman, Captain America, and…okay it’s actually a third-place tie between Nightwing and Red Hood.”
“Is Red Hood not also a villain?”
“It’s complicated? Um, look…what was your name again?”
“Hieeekochonnassil.”
“Look, Sil, the heroes…are from different earths. They only come to this earth when we really need them. You know about the multiple earths, right?”
“Yes! I read about them in the documentaries of the Justice League!”
“Right, so you probably won’t see them here because they exist on another earth.”
“This makes all the sense!”
“Yeah! Cats!”
“What?”
