@markiplier is there any way we can get the shipping costs down on the shirts? As much as I want one, I’m not paying more on the shipping than I am for the actual shirt.

$32 for shipping is ridiculous, and I know this may not be in your hands but is there any way you can talk to the company about this? I’m sure many other people are in my position as well and aren’t able to afford international shipping, which is a real shame seeing as this is probably one of the coolest shirts you’ve ever sold.

Where are you shipping too? I completely agree that people shouldn’t be paying that much for international. Will talk with them right now.

Anyone else getting crazy international shipping?

So I got a response and it’s because they’re including the international tax and duty fees that would have to be paid anyway but aren’t usually lumped in with the upfront shipping cost (which is still usually high for international anyway)

And while that makes sense I still don’t think that’s ok. This is a new merch partner I’m working with and I didn’t grill them on their international setup before this shirt came out. The ideal is to have international manufacturers or at least warehouses around the globe to ship from so that not everything is crazy expensive every time.

But obviously that’ll take some time to get in order so if you guys want to wait to buy then please do. I don’t want people to feel gouged for these so I’m gonna have a nice long talk with them about how to fix this.

I’m having a hard time believing it’s taxes and duty fees. I honestly think it’s because they’re using DHL as the shipping company as opposed to UPS or FedEx. Obviously that’s out of your hands, but I don’t think they’re being honest.

Living in Australia shipping fees and duty taxes are some of the highest there is, but I can still buy products from Tee-fury, Represent or Society6 for no higher than $10 USD in shipping costs. I know it will take something like 3 weeks to get here, but that’s the way it is.

Also I know DHL has high fees as they use a different service. It courier not mail if that makes sense.

Either way, I’m not in a position to tell you how to run things Mark, but as someone who does a lot of overseas shipping, both too and from my country, I’d say look into what this shirt company has told you, it just doesn’t seem right to me.
