Today at my school we had an assembly about internet predators and when I had said that most of my true friends are over the internet and they gave me a lecture about how “I don’t know who I’m talking to” blah blah. So please, if you aren’t a predator in any way, please reblog so i can prove a point.

Me: You do realize that the people I’m talking about help warn others of those kind of people? They aren’t evil old men. They’re artists. I just don’t get why you won’t let go of the fact that they aren’t freaking pedophiles messed up people! They’re actually really nice!

An old man? Pfffft, frick that’s the same excuse my parents use. What’s if it’s an old woman predator? HM? But yeah that’s a gross misuse of the internet, and its disgusting in all honesty. Reasons why i take precautions (private profile, only people you follow can message you) those types of things.

I met one of my best friends while reading fanfiction and began RPing; that was back in 2011, we are still talking to this day as well as RPing. I cannot wait for the day when we can finally meet in person.

When I met @skeletonhater143 , I had to convince my mother that they were not a creepy old man/woman. I had to explain that I had texted and called them and they slunded like the average teenager. Was that enough? Nope. I had to show a picture of them in order for her to believe me.
Meanwhile, dad was super chill and had a full on conversation with them. Although he did want to make sure, he didn’t need to know all of their history. He just wanted to know if they were my age and if they were cool – which they are. And, the only reason he even asked about talking to them on the phone is because I was already talking to them and had brought them up a few times before.
