Terror

Two days ago, on Halloween, a terror attack happened (allegedly in the name of ISIS), killing eight people and injuring almost a dozen near 4 schools. Despite this class was still in session the next day.

How would aliens feel about all this? There are groups of humans that feel justified spreading terror and mass murder to spread a message, and there are humans who feel this is the only way to do so.

Big cities swallow it whole, though. They just take the tragedy, offer help to those who need it, and keep going on as normal.

i think they would be more amazed by how people just straight up ignore this crap sometimes.I mean we’ll offer aid to those harmed but most of the time we don’t react in a big way. They would be so confused about why we aren’t going after the people who did this with everything we have. They would wonder if we have so little concern about death that we just let it happen. But then they see the funerals and everyday acts of violence and realize no we care immensely when someone dies or is harmed by another. then they would eventually learn that the reason we don’t respond to terrorism in the same way is because that’s what the terrorists want. they want to see us be afraid and react to them and that by ignoring them we’re doing the exact opposite of what they desire.
