Athena blessed her with the ability to protect herself and men beheaded her for it.
That’s actually a really intetesting intpretation of it I hadn’t thought of. Most people seem to think Athena turned Medusa into a gorgon as punishment for defiling her temple, but thinking that she did so to protect her from being abused again is interesting and I like it!
Athena’s hands were tied. Yes, she was a powerful Goddess, but she was very much a woman in a “boys club”, and the true offending party (don’t think for a moment that Athena blamed Medusa for being raped in the temple, Athena knows better) held all the cards. There was nothing that Athena could do to punish the true criminal, and she was expected to punish Medusa by everyone else. What’s a Goddess to do when she cannot punish those who need to be punished and is expected to punish not only the truly innocent party, but her most beloved follower? Use that incredible brain power she had to protect Medusa at all costs, and of course the men would see it as punishment, to be have her beauty stripped from her and sent to live in the shadows. Medusa should have been KILLED for supposedly defiling the temple, whether she truly did or not, but she was given the gift of life, and the ability to protect herself and her daughters (who she bore thanks to Poseidon). This is why Medusa’s image was used to signify woman’s shelters and safe houses.
Medusa means “guardian; protectress”, and she was.
1) have all your info ready and the page up before the they go on sale to get a good spot.
2) research the theater to figure out where it is and maybe even which row to get tickets for
3) The merch line before hand is pretty clear but if the opening starts while you’re still in line you might be screwed. It’s hard to hear the announcements over the screaming but dimming light mean get to your seat now.
4) Be considerate when taking photos. It can be kinda dark but the stage lights are enough for pictures. Don’t use flash.
Also do not hold your phone way up, people behind you want to be able to see
5) Mind the paddles. Last time there were voting paddles, dont wave these randomly in the air, it makes it hard for others to see
6) Don’t bring gifts for the team. Last time they asked people not to because they are traveling in limited space.
7) Be nice to Amy and Katherine. Last time these lovely ladies went into the audience to hold mics for a QnA at the end. Be nice to them, they’re both very sweet and are helping out. Do not shout or grab at them.
8)STAY IN YOUR SEAT! Do not randomly stand up for no reason.You can stand when they’re asking for volunteers and such, but not randomly to shout things. If you need to leave try and stay low to not disturb others.
9) ASK APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS! there are younger people in the audience, i saw some very young kids like 8 or 9. Also people may have their parents there.
10) Dont bring big signs. it makes it impossible for people to see
12) Also be POLITE and RESPECTFUL !!! They had some issues with people being slightly rude in the crowd
13) CHECK OUT THE PARKING. That way you know ahead of time where to Park rather than it being last minute.
14) DON’T ASK ABOUT SEPTIPLIER (or any ships at all). Shipping is fun for some of us online, but the guys have said repeatedly they are uncomfortable when confronted with it. You’d think this would be common sense, but someone did this at the show I went to and it was hella rude, embarrassing for all of us, and insulting to Amy.
IF YOU WANT MERCH, MAKE IT FIRST PRIORITY: I wanted a shirt and ended up not getting anything due to everything selling out. This might of been because I went to the last show they had in Detroit, but still
DO NOT SHOUT INAPROPRIATE THINGS: Mark told us that a show was very obnoxious when him and Ethan had the dance off, they kept screaming “KISS!” And it made them very uncomfortable.
RELAX: This show is super fun! It will make you laugh so hard your stomach will hurt. Don’t stress to much about it, have a blast! Yell when Mark says to yell, watch thes dorks be dorks.

RP3′s shows happen in October and that got me thinking. Since Jack’s going on tour, that means he won’t be at his home (obviously) and the schedule will probably be kind of iffy as he said in the video.
But October is a special month in the jacksepticeye community. It’s the month that Anti appeared for the first time a year ago but now that our boi is going on tour in that month- what will happen?
Will Anti be absent in that month for the first time, or appear much less? Will we be getting Anti hints after the tour is done? Will the 31st of October be the only day Anti shows up? Or there will be no Anti stuff at all?
We know that Anti stuff is always tedious for Robin to edit, and we know that Jack likes to take his time with this and not rush it.
What do you guys think?

what will happen, but I think something will happen. I might be
wrong, but I don’t think Jack would just jump into that tour without having some kind of plan. And I’m intrigued to find out.
I think I’ll
just sit back and see what’s gonna come. And if nothing comes – it’s totally fine: since he’s always there, always watching anyway.
Both have you have some VERY good points, and I also agree with what you have to say. Realistically Jack is going to be SO busy with that entire month and tours. I will not be surprised if there’s no Anti and that is completely OK if that’s the case.
I don’t want us to force/ demand him to do something, ever. Time of year or not.
Days leading up to Halloween/ the holiday itself will be interesting, and I can’t wait for that at the end of the month (and on Mark’s channel).
I still think we can do an “Anti Week” leading up to his b-day (October 10th) or Halloween. To me I think that would be fun and awesome to see around here esp if we never see GB himself in that time! 🙂
