Is that… a dead body? Bim Trimmer

(( I call this “A Masterclass in Dissolving a Dead Body – by Darkiplier ))

Anyone could have been able to tell that Bim was acting
strange, but it was Dark that picked up on it the most. The normally confident
TV host was jumpy and always looking over his shoulder, and he was being a lot
more secretive about his backstage room where he prepared for shows. Bim was
being quite the deceiver with the other egos, convincing them he was fine, just
feeling and a little ill, and Dark was honestly a little proud. But, he was
also concerned. He had been willing to allow him his secrets, after all, he
himself had so many, but when it began to affect Bim’s behaviour around Dark as
well, he decided to put his foot down.

Following Bim into his backstage room was easy, especially
for Dark, and surprising him there was even easier. When Bim opened the door
after a long day of recording, he squeaked in surprise to find Dark sitting in
the room, drinking tea and steadfastly ignoring the elephant in the room.

“Dark!” Bim exclaimed, “What are you doing?”

“Trying to find out what has you so worked up,” Dark replied evenly,
setting his teacup down and standing, “And now I see what it is.”

Bim swallowed nervously as Dark stalked around the props and
costumes neatly organised throughout the room until he came to the back. Hidden
among the costumes that were never going to be used before was-.

“Is that a dead body?”

“Ssssh!” Bim hushed Dark quickly, glancing at the door
despite it being clear no one was nearby.

Dark nudged the body with his foot, turning it over for a
better look and Bim flushed in embarrassment. “I believe I know him.” Dark
continued, “One of the contestants you hired for a show…isn’t it more Wilford’s
style to kill them?”

“I didn’t do it on purpose!” Bim cried, frantically trying to
cover the body up again as if Dark not seeing it would make it better. Dark
caught his flailing arms and drew him closer to his body, instantly still Bim
with one look. “He was hitting on the female contestant, saying some lewd things.”
Bim continued, calmer as his eyes locked on Dark’s, “It annoyed me, so I
recommended him for the ‘prize draw’.”

“And his prize was death I take it?” Dark inquired.

Nodding, Bim finally looked away, still embarrassed. “It’s
not my normal style.”

“I’m surprised we haven’t had burgers for lunch.” Dark teased
and Bim swatted at him.

“What do I do?” He asked, “I’ve never had to get rid of a
body before!”

Rolling his neck, Dark smirked. “Let me show you. Stay here,
I need to fetch some supplies.”

Waiting for Dark to return was nail-biting and Bim was pacing
around the room, carefully avoiding the body when the grey ego finally did.
Turning to greet him, Bim stopped dead in his tracks.

Dark had forgone his suit, instead he was wearing black sweatpants
and a black vest. His hair was pinned back from his face, and in his hands he
was carrying various chemicals. Smirking at Bim’s awestruck face, Dark tossed
him some rubber gloves.

“Put these on, these chemicals are bad for you.” He murmured.

“I could just…turn him into a hamburger now?” Bim suggested
as he stared dubiously at the chemicals.

“How long has he been dead?” Dark asked, not looking up from
where he was counting bottles. “A week?”

“I guess?” Bim replied.

“Do you really want to feed week old human to the others?”
Dark continued, shooting Bim a glance, “And risk god knows what from this…thing?”

“Good point.” Bim nodded, “Okay, so what are we doing?”

“Dissolving him.” Dark replied calmly. “But we need to move
him first. You carry the bucket.”

He handed the chemical bucket to Bim, who took it gingerly
and read the contents while Dark examined the dead body.

“There are two main ways to do this.” He explained, lifting
the body easily and carrying him over to Bim. “Using boiling Lye, or strong
acids, like sulfuric acid and both have their merits. Lye doesn’t take as long,
but it leaves evidence behind. Sulfuric acid, and other acids, can take days
and leave toxic fumes around while the body is dissolving, but they get rid of
everything.”

Using his void to transport them to the basement of the ego’s
home, Dark deposited the body on the floor with a strange, squelching noise and
took the bucket from Bim, unsteady on his feet from the unplanned trip.

“I’m going to teach you the Lye method today.” Dark murmured,
drawing Bim close again. “It’s safer, and quicker, and I want you back to
normal as soon as possible.”

Bim nodded, his face heating up. Seeing Dark like this,
methodically planning to dissolve a body to get rid of it so he could go back
to acting normal again was extremely arousing, but Bim pushed the feelings
down. He had to focus, otherwise, they could get hurt. When Dark asked him to
boil the Lye as he poured it in, Bim used his powers to do so, transforming the
Lye into a bubbling mass within seconds, and the smell was powerful.

“Be careful.” Dark warned him as he shifted to get the body
again, “Lye mixed with water is dangerous.””

“Okay.” Bim whispered. He helped Dark lift the body into the
vat, and watched as it sank below the surface.

“It can take around three to four hours for the skeleton to
be left, and when that’s done, you can dry it out, grind it down and use it as
fertiliser.” Dark murmured, stripping off his rubber gloves and stretching. “It’s
fine to leave it alone for now.”

“How do you know all this?” Bim inquired as he followed Dark
out of the basement, watching as Dark turned on the air vents and opened the
windows slightly so the fumes wouldn’t build.

Dark flashed him a dangerous smile, “Yandere learned all his
knows about killing mostly from Wilford, where do you think he learnt to clean
up the mess?”

When three hours had passed, Dark wandered back down to the
basement with Bim in tow and used a stick – that worryingly had previous Lye
marks on it – to fish the body out. True to his word, the body was just a
simple skeleton now, brittle enough to break as Dark lifted it from the vat
with the stick and placed it on a mat.

“It will dry quickly,” He informed Bim, bending down to check
for any places where the body hadn’t completely dissolved. “And when the lye is
cooled, we can empty the vat, and it was drain the Lye through to the barrels you
see around. I get rid of them after that, professionally.”

“How much Lye do we go through?” Bim asked. He had to admit,
he was intrigued by the entire operation Dark had set up in the basement and he
had never known about it before. And watching Dark slowly wipe Lye off of
someone’s bones was a sight he never thought he would see, and one he couldn’t
get enough of either.

“It depends on how many people Wilford and Yandere decide to
kill.” Dark shrugged, standing and approaching Bim. Encircling his arms around
Bim’s waist, Dark kissed him gently. “Are you going to add to the number?” He
whispered against Bim’s lips.

Bim shook his head, “No. I have my own way of getting rid of
bodies, but it’s been a while and I panicked.”

“If this ever happens again, call me immediately.” Dark
ordered, “I’ll help you.”

Smiling, Bim kissed him again, even as the sound of the Lye
cooling down and draining from the vat filled the room.

“That’s why I love you.” He murmured, leaning their foreheads
together.

Dark smiled and nodded. “I love you too.”
