So, everyone been thinking about Anti, and what kind of influence Jack might take from IT to adapt to our Glitchy boy. I will admit, I know nothing of Stephen King stories in general, but I did some research into the story IT. Specifically, the abilities of Pennywise. So, here’s some of the abilities of Pennywise:

– Possibly Photokinesis (light manipulation) 

– Telekinesis 

– Brainwashing/Mind Control.

– Partial Invisibility. 

– Illusions

– Shapeshifting

So now that we know a generalization of what Pennywise can do, let’s look at what we’ve seen Anti do.

– Illusory sounds (in Say goodbye, Jack leave on multiple occasions due to “hearing things”) (this is when Anti hijacks the video for those split seconds before Jack enters the room once more)

-Some form of brainwashing (Once again, in Say Goodbye, Jack goes into a trance like state and “kills” himself; like wise, in Kill Jacksepticeye, Shneeple begins to strangle himself with the Headphone cord, but then resists)

So we already see a few similarities between Anti and Pennywise. They both use some form of illusion and Mind control.

But consider this:

Anti adapting more of Pennywise’s powers. Specifically, Shape-shifting. Anti has already expressed some form of this, as He hides the scar from Say Goodbye from us while he is in control up until he repeats his cycle of attention seeking.Why do i mention this? BECAUSE ALL THE EGOS HAVE THE SAME FACE. So it wouldn’t be too far off for Anti to gain the ability to Shapeshift and steal the attention he depends on from them by impersonated the other egos, just like how he impersonated Jack for MONTHS.

So it’s widely accepted that Anti will gain more inspiration from Pennywise, specifically, a greater focus on Illusions and misdirection.

I couldn’t agree more that this might be the case in terms of Pennywise’s influence, but I’m going to shift gears a little and go a bit further.

There’s a detail in Kill Jacksepticeye that i think everyone has been overlooking. Wanna know what that is?

THE SYMPTOMS

Hear me out here, because i know everyone is familiar with Shneeple mentioning Mood Swings, but there’s more to it. I took screen shots of every diagnosis involving the nervous system in Kill Jacksepticeye.

First, let’s take a look at the results of the PET scan:

Nervous Breakdown

Chronic Stress

Dementia (i.e Memory loss)

Parkinson’s disease

So for this argument, I will be focusing on the Dementia, Chronic Stress and Nervous breakdown. Now, the later two I’m going to tackle together, as they are fairly close knit.

So according to this, Jack is dealing with Chronic stress and, because of this, he is having a Nervous breakdown.Then the memory loss. What would Jack need to forget? Maybe, oh i don’t know, certian posts and updates in Zalgo.

SO, what does this have to do with anything I’ve been talking about? Well look at the other symptoms that aren’t listed in that screenshot:

Now everyone Jumped onto the Mood swings bit fairly easy, but i want to focus on the Anxiety and Paranoia. Now we’re getting somewhere. According to Kill Jacksepticeye, Jack is dealing with many mental issues. So this begs the question: what is he anxious and stressed about?

Answer: His Paranoia. Specifically, the paranoia about Anti.

Remember when i said Anti and Pennywise shared the ability of Mind control/ Brainwashing? well this is where it come into play. Pennywise uses his abilities to Terrorize his victims into desperate fear, so that when they are at their weakest, he can kill and eat them.

While Anti’s goals are a little bit less gruesome, he does share that need to use his abilities for his enjoyment. Anti toys with us. He loves mocking and jeering and taunting us. So say he were to adapt a more sinister and Pennywise approach to this. Say he began a video with, oh i don’t know, another Ego. We’re ecstatic, because they’re back and they’re fine. But then we start hearing things. Voices of people who aren’t in the room, but the person we’re watching doesn’t notice a thing. That’s when we start to see the Ego in question is not in their sound mind. The screen and lights begin to flicker and we’re suddenly aware that this is not what it seems. The Ego in the room start yelling that there’s something in the room, but we can’t see it. Why? Because Anti wouldn’t want us to, just like how Pennywise can make certain people see things, while everyone else thinks they’re being paranoid and losing it.

If anyone has corrections or objections to the Pennywise bits, let me know because i had to research Pennywise’s character and motives in order to make this theory.

About the ego in the room who starts hearing something: reminds me of that binaural audio stuff. And I’ve always thought how ironic it was that the in-game Jack suffers from chronic stress and anxiety, while real Jack sometimes tends to overwork himself a little.
