Wow someone finally gets it

I love this so much because acknowledges people doing gender-stereotypical things of their free will isn’t bad.

In this case she’s cooking because she wants to and nobody else in the room is fit to. The fact she’s the only girl in the room is purely coincidence.  

this also points out the importance of teaching your kids all ranges of skills and not just what falls into stereotypical boy/girl categories (i.e. stop sending our sons off to fucking college with no clue how to even do their own laundry or make something beyond easymac… teach daughters how to use a power drill, change a tire, or the basics of investing…)

encourage kids to learn things that interest them but also makes sure they move out of the house knowing basic life skills cause they don’t teach those in school very often
