Okay but that would make him a 10 year old frozen at that level of maturity, not actually a 60 year old. More than that, he was a 10 year old abuse and neglect victim, who when presented with people who loved him unconditionally and simultaneously provided him power and agency in his life that he’d never experienced before, AND told him explicitly that they were going to abandon him in several years time and erase all of his memories of their presence and love?
