Sometimes even the best laid plans just don’t go over well! This was the first trial of Wurm Egg (a weighted easter egg filled with live worms), but unfortunately I added too much weight to the interior of the egg and Bisquick couldn’t roll it around. I went back and made it lighter, and then it was a huge success! I’ll have a video of the functional Wurm Egg up later tonight. All animals benefit from enrichment!
Bisquick is a freshwater stingray (Potamotrygon motoro) and as always I have to remind you that stingrays are not pets for the inexperienced keeper. Their large adult size, sensitivity to diet and water conditions, and venomous nature make them ill suited for the majority of people to own. Please visit stingrays at your local aquarium and leave them to only the most well equipped and experienced keepers.
I can barely open those easter eggs with my fingernails and you’re telling me a dinner plate made of jello is actually capable of popping that egg open?
Animals are too much. I love it.
He actually doesn’t open it! It has two very small holes area here end. He has to manipulate the egg and use suction in order to get the food. These are very cheap Easter eggs though and if he learned to open it it I wouldn’t be surprised!
That is extra fascinating!!
